Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks bookkeeping / Adelaide
Xero bookkeeping.
Made easier.
srwn Accounting & Advisory helps Adelaide businesses keep their Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks records in order. We check your setup, agree a regular bookkeeping routine and turn the records into useful monthly accounts. Keep the software you know, with support for the work around it.
An Adelaide practice led by management accountant Pargat Sandhu. Meet your accountant
Start with a tidy setup
We review your account list, bank connections and the way invoices and bills enter the file. Clear account names make reports easier to read. We identify unused accounts, missing connections and confusing categories before agreeing any changes with you and your tax adviser.
Keep the routine manageable
Agree who sends receipts, approves bills and answers questions. We check bank and card entries against statements, match payments to invoices and review balances at the agreed times. An automatic bank feed saves entry time, but it still needs a person to check the records behind it.
Read more than the bank balance
At month end, review what customers owe, which bills are unpaid and how income compares with costs. We explain the agreed reports in plain language. You can see what changed, which figures need more information and what to discuss with your accountant.
The work we can take on
What’s included
We agree the work around your business, your records and the support you need.
srwn is your main contact for bookkeeping, reports and business finances. BAS means business activity statement. Registered partners handle BAS and tax services. We can also work with your existing tax agent.
- Bank feed and duplicate checks
- Check the accounts connected to your file, find gaps in the imported records and investigate entries recorded twice. Match payments to their source before creating a new entry.
- Customer and supplier records
- Keep invoice references, due dates and payment matches organised. Review older balances with you instead of assuming every unpaid item is still collectible or payable.
- An orderly software handover
- If you change providers or systems, agree a cut-off date, opening balances and who keeps the earlier records. We review the work before recommending a migration.
- Payroll and adviser coordination
- Keep approved payroll records together for your books and the registered provider. Registered partners or your existing tax agent handle BAS, STP and work that requires tax interpretation.
A regular bookkeeping routine
Know who does what, and when.
The best setup is one your team can keep using. We agree the tasks, timing and contact person so missing records are dealt with before they hold up the month-end accounts.
- Your starting file
- Tell us which software and plan you use, how many bank accounts you have and whether the books are current. This helps separate setup repairs from ongoing work.
- Your monthly workload
- We look at transaction volume, invoices, bills, staff records and reporting needs. The written scope explains what is included and how changes are handled.
- Your access and approvals
- Agree appropriate user access and who approves payments or changes. Keep ownership of your accounts and use a secure handover for business records.
Start with your software name and the task that takes too much time. We will explain the next step during the free review. Do not send passwords through the enquiry form.

Show us where things stand
We'll check your software, accounts and how many entries you record. We'll also review payroll and any months that need catching up.
Know what you're paying for
We'll confirm the work and fixed fee in writing, and tell you which records to provide.
Keep the books current
Each month, we check your books and answer questions. Your records are then ready for reports or your partner's BAS work.
Before we start
Your questions, answered.
Can I stay with MYOB or QuickBooks?
Yes. We review the system you already use and agree the work around it. A new subscription is only discussed when there is a clear business reason to change.
Does using Xero mean the bookkeeping is automatic?
Software can bring in transactions and repeat tasks. Someone still needs to check the supporting records, match payments, resolve differences and review the reports.
Can you help us switch accounting software?
We can review the proposed move, the records to transfer and the checks needed. Migration is quoted separately, with a clear cut-off and responsibilities agreed before work starts.
Is the software subscription included?
Your written quote explains the bookkeeping fee and any separate software or connector costs. We do not assume that your current subscription needs to be replaced.
